Give your child a sweet and educational summer at our Lancaster kids summer camp! STEM for Sweets is a hands-on, four-day camp where campers dive into the science behind their favorite sugary treats — and get to eat their experiments. Designed for curious young chefs and scientists, this camp blends chemistry, engineering, and culinary creativity in a fun, safe environment.
Campers will:
Explore chemistry by shaking up homemade ice cream
Learn baking fundamentals while creating chocolate chip cookies
Master melting points by dipping pretzels in chocolate
Engineer edible masterpieces like dirt pudding with homemade whipped cream
Gain hands-on experience with measurements, reactions, and food science principles
Safety Note: This camp involves hot equipment and recipes that may contain gluten, eggs, or dairy. Students with allergies or sensitivities should take appropriate precautions.
