Give your child a hands-on summer experience at our Lancaster kids summer camp! The Science of Snacks is a four-day, interactive camp where students explore the science behind their favorite foods while experimenting, mixing, and tasting. Perfect for curious young scientists, this camp combines STEM learning, culinary creativity, and hands-on fun.
Campers will:
Discover why popcorn pops and what makes homemade bread rise
Create delicious treats like fruit pizza and other edible experiments
Explore food science principles including chemistry, physics, and measurements
Develop problem-solving, observation, and critical thinking skills through hands-on experiments
Safety Note: This camp uses hot equipment and includes recipes that may contain gluten, eggs, or dairy. Students with allergies or sensitivities should take appropriate precautions.

Campers can also pair this morning camp with STEM for Sweets for a full-day experience. Perfect for kids who love STEM, science, and cooking, this is a tasty and educational Lancaster summer camp experience your child won’t forget!
