Movie Making Camp (June 22-25)

Lights! Camera! Action! In this four-day summer movie-making camp, students will work in small production teams to plan, write, film, and direct their very own movie! Campers will dive into the full filmmaking process, from developing a script and designing props to bringing characters and scenes to life on screen.

Students will learn essential filmmaking techniques, including exploring different camera angles, operating HD cameras, and using boom microphones, green screens, and dollies to create dynamic shots. They’ll also gain hands-on experience with editing software to piece their films together like real directors and editors.

After writing and rehearsing their scenes, campers will have a blast acting in and recording their movies using professional-style equipment. On the final day, families and friends are invited to a red-carpet movie premiere where students will debut their finished films
