Dr. Dan Snyderman
Dr. Snyderman is a dedicated educator with over 17 years of experience in teaching. Currently, he teaches gifted support at the middle school level, having previously spent 11 years working with elementary-aged students. In addition to his K-12 teaching, Dr. Snyderman also teaches graduate students in Millersville University’s Gifted Master’s Program, sharing his expertise and passion for gifted education with future educators. For the past 15 years, he has been the driving force behind Lancaster Technology Camps, where he combines his love for technology with a commitment to student growth and innovation.
Mr. Kevin Bower
Mr. Bower has been teaching for 22 years, currently working with 6th-grade students. He has also taught camps for 4 years. Outside the classroom, Kevin enjoys a busy life driving his kids to their various activities—dance, soccer, baseball, and field hockey—while also spending quality time with his family. Kevin is an avid reader and enjoys outdoor activities. He lives in Landisville with his wife, Dara, and their six children, balancing family life and his role as a teacher with great passion and dedication.
Mr. Joe Shelly
Mr. Shelly has been teaching for 21 years, focusing on Manufacturing and Power Technology for grades 9-12. He has also taught Robotics camps for the past 4 years. A skilled welder, machinist, and blacksmith, Mr. Shelly brings a wealth of hands-on experience to his classroom, alongside a love of running, home renovation, and outdoor activities like canoeing, kayaking, and hiking. He is also a proud parent of three children, ages 12, 10, and 3, which adds to his dynamic, family-oriented teaching approach.
Mr. Bill Turner
With 31 years of teaching experience, Mr. Turner has spent the past several years instructing students in Graphic Design and Video Game Design for grades 9-12, specializing in Technology and Engineering Education. He has taught camps for approximately 6-8 years, finding joy in fostering creativity in his students. Outside of the classroom, Bill is passionate about photography, camping with his family, and skiing. One of his greatest joys is seeing students motivated to explore photography and express their creativity through their own lenses.
Mr. Matt Wagaman
With 21 years of teaching experience, Mr. Wagaman currently teaches 8th Grade Algebra 1B, Algebra 1A, Math 8, and Foundations of Math 8. He enjoys sharing his passion for math with his students. As a child, Matt was an enthusiastic Lego builder, and his love for the creative possibilities of Legos has remained a memorable part of his childhood. When it comes to teaching, he is dedicated to making learning engaging and accessible for all his students.
Mrs. Dara Bower
Mrs. Bower has 21 years of teaching experience, specializing in grades 1, 2, and Kindergarten. She is teaching camps for the first time this year. Dara’s professional background includes a degree in Early Childhood Education, with extensive experience working with students in grades 1-3. She is a mother to six children, and much of her time is spent driving them to their various activities. Dara is excited to bring her passion for early education to her camp teaching role, and she is dedicated to supporting young learners in every aspect of their development.
Mr. Oster has been teaching for 13 years, specializing in 7th and 8th Grade Technology Education. This year marks his first time teaching camps. In his spare time, Kyle enjoys coaching basketball, spending time with his wife, Brittany, and their dog, Hazel, and working part-time at Lezzer Lumber. A fan of Legos, Kyle believes they might just be the best toy of all time, reflecting his passion for hands-on learning and creativity. His connection to his students is strengthened by his personal experiences and interests.
